Members of our project

 

Our project is developing under the Comenius multialateral programme of EU. Here is the list of schools involved in this multilateral partnership.

Uşak Banaz Cumhuriyet İlköğretim Okulu
(UÅŸak Banaz, Turkey)

 

We are in Banaz. Banaz has a lot of beauties such as forests, lakes, places of picnic. Transportation is very easy in Banaz according to a lot of cities .It is near to big cities such as Ä°stanbul, Ä°zmir, Ankara and International Zafer Airport.

 

There are many secondary schools but we are the best and the most crowded one. Our school was founded in 1977.We have two modern buildings and one of them is primary school and the other one is secondary school. We have 20 teachers and 350 students in secondary school. We’ve 11 classes and our students study six lessons a day except 5th classes. They have seven classes in a day. Subjects are P.E, English,Turkish,Religious,Science and Technology,Math, Social sciences,Art, Music,Technology and designing,.We have Guidance and social activities twice a month. Our school is the most successful so students enter the SBS exam and many of them achieve it and they attend to Anatolian teacher high school. science high school, The Medical high school etc.

Primary School No 10 is a typical urban school situated in the centre of Rzeszów, located next to a small park, close to the Bieszczady Mountains where you can admire a beautiful, picturesque landscape, full of unspoiled nature. It is a perfect place for people who enjoy sports and tourism. In winter you can do many winter sports and you can try sailing and canoeing in the summer time on Solina reservoir.  

 

There are 541 pupils learning in this school and 60  highly qualified teachers employed at the school. Our students come from many different social backgrounds. In spite of that many of them are highly  successful in many sport and knowledge competitions even at the national level. Among our graduates we have many prizewinners in interdisciplinary contests. In our school there are children who need special commitment from the adults as well.  The catchment area of the school is quite poor. Many of the children come from disadvantaged backgrounds families and, as a result, lack of the material support required to make their learning more efficient.

C.E.I.P FRANCISCO GINER DE LOS RIOS (Mairena del Aljarafe, Spain)

 

Francisco Giner de los Ríos School, is a school located in Mairena del Aljarafe, a town to 9 kilometres from Seville, the capital of Andalusia (a big and important region in the South of Spain). In Mairena del Aljarafe, there are many families whose children go to our school, but their parents work in Seville, a city with a very rich cultural heritage and many business in it. Nowadays, we all are suffering this hard economical crisis, but we can say our town is a place with not many economical problems.

 

Our school has got about 700 students, and the staff is formed by 38 teachers. We develop our Pre-school and Primary School teaching in one of our buildings, but nowadays, due to the increase in population in Mairena del Aljarafe, we have to manage another building with pre-school students in a very close zone to us.

Osnovna Å¡kola Julija Kempfa
(Požega, Croatia)

 

We are a public primary school (grades 1-8) located in Eastern Croatia, in the small town of Pozega. Our school has approximately 750 students and 50 teachers. We are taking part in this project in order to give our students and staff the opportunity to exchange their experiences with others, learn different languages, and learn about other cultures. Our country has a high rate of unemployed young people. We feel this project could bring great benefits to our students, who have felt the severe consequences of growing up in a country ravaged by war in the early 1990s.

Our school is situated in the north suburbs of Athens. It consists of the kindergarten with 38 kids and four teachers and the primary with 184 kids and 20 teachers. What makes this private school unit unique is the fact that,it is a self-administrative non-profitable one,which aims in the whole development (both cognitive and emotional)of each child's personality. It is a school open to any kind of innovation and also a pioneer in the fields of teaching and educating. It is purely a family school in which 30% of the students come from mixed marriages between Greek and German citizens. Great emphasis is given in the German language and the German culture in general.
